The Dungarvan / Lismore District of Waterford has prepared Draft Municipal District of Dungarvan/Lismore Control of Parking Bye-Laws 2018 for the regulation and control of parking in respect of the area comprising the Dungarvan/Lismore District of Waterford.

The Draft Bye-Laws are available for inspection on the Council’s website.

These Bye-Laws do not  have any mention of free parking from 4pm daily. Following emails from over 70 members about the importance of retaining Free Parking From 4pm daily in the town centre, the Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber made a submission requesting this initiative be incorporated into the Bye-Laws  .

If you wish to make your own submission about any aspect of the draft Bye Laws the Council will consider any submissions or observations made in writing regarding the Draft Control of Parking Bye-Laws 2018.  Submissions should be lodged with Fergus Galvin, Director of Services, Roads, Water and Environment, Waterford City & County Council, City Hall, Waterford, or by email to contact@waterfordcouncil.ie to be received before 4.00pm on Thursday 28th June, 2018.
