Jenny Beresford

CEO

Jenny Beresford is an accomplished CEO and dynamic leader with extensive experience in strategic and operational management across diverse business environments. Holding a B.A. in Tourism Business Management, Jenny has built an impressive career spanning work in the U.S., Australia, and Africa, before returning to settle in Dungarvan. As CEO of the Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber and Manager of the Dungarvan Tourist Office, she actively collaborates with key stakeholders from both business and tourism sectors, where she sees strong synergy.

During her tenure, Jenny has tripled Chamber membership, attracting businesses across all sectors and sizes. She spearheaded the successful Chamber Shopping Voucher program, now generating over €1 million annually for the local economy. A passionate advocate for Dungarvan, Jenny has launched impactful initiatives such as the “Get Greenway Ready” campaign and branded Dungarvan as the “Home of the Greenway” to maximise local tourism potential.

Her work has driven numerous recognitions for Dungarvan, including becoming Ireland’s first Dementia Friendly Town and a Coach Friendly destination. Honoured by RSVP magazine as one of Waterford’s most influential women, Jenny’s leadership led to Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber winning the 2023 national “Chamber of the Year”, Best Small Tourist Office 2023/24 and the 2024 Menopause Workplace Excellence Award for Best Small Business.

Emma Coffey

Business Development Officer

Having started her career in the music industry, Emma has worked with some of the best-known companies, artists and brands. Through her experience in public relations, Emma has a wealth of knowledge in creating results driven campaigns and the ability to gain a deep understanding of customer needs, ensuring a lasting relationship is built.

Emma is our member liaison, offering a personalized service to existing and new members. The D&WW Chamber is a focused dynamic resource to local businesses and Emma works to create exciting opportunities for members and potential members from engagement programmes and sponsorship, to public relations, innovative initiatives, and events. With Emma’s working knowledge of local business, it’s role in the wider community and her experience in public relations, she offers an enhanced service for the entire Chamber network.

Rachael Power

Accounts Supervisor

Over years of experience in local retail and customer service, Rachael saw first- hand the importance of the ‘Shop Local’ ethos to the wider community – how keeping money in the local economy benefits everyone, through quality jobs, the personal relationships built with customers and the variety & innovation that arises in a vibrant business community. Rachael joined the Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber in 2013 with a strong interest in supporting the Chamber’s ‘Shop Local’ campaign and the Chamber Voucher Scheme, areas where the D&WW Chamber excels.

Rachael is our accounts supervisor, responsible for a range of administrative duties to help ensure that the day to day workings of the Chamber run smoothly, from membership processing and accounts to social media image design.
