Waterford Chamber, Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber, Wexford Chamber and Kilkenny Chamber in partnership with Waterford City and County Council, are hosting the South East Jobs and Skills Fair on Saturday, February 17th in City Hall Waterford from 9am to 3pm.
The event is open for everyone and admission is free. It will showcase booths featuring employers from various sectors across the region who currently have job openings.
Representatives from these companies will be present on the day to converse with potential employees, accept CVs, and arrange private meetings with interested individuals. Additionally, we have allocated an exclusive diversity & inclusion hour from 9 am to 10 am. This hour is specifically designed for members of our autistic community and individuals with disabilities to engage with businesses with the aim of securing work experience or employment. All necessary sensory accommodations will be provided during this dedicated hour.
We are pleased to announce the full support of the Department of Social Protection, who will actively encourage their clients from the region to attend. They will also provide advertising assistance across their websites and social media platforms.
To ensure maximum participation, we will collaborate with our broader Chamber network in the South East, regional Local Authorities, and other stakeholders including Ireland South East, Engineering the South East, and other relevant clusters for promotional activities.
Employers interested in exhibiting will be asked to pay a nominal fee, which will cover the expenses associated with hiring pod tables and related materials. Complimentary tea, coffee, and snacks will be provided onsite.
