This event attracted many from the Dungarvan & West Waterford Business Community who got to meet the dynamic business owners from An Galetacht. Guests from Dungarvan got to learn about the large number of proactive and successful businesses being operated in An Rinn and beyond.
Guests were also treated to a short presentation from Irial Mac Murchú, founder of Nemeton TV Production Company, about the type and number of enormous projects Nemeton has won awards for and the National contracts Nemeton have won such as the Magners Rugby League 2010, RTE’s ‘Health Squad’ and the International Rules 2010 (Ireland V Australia) .
‘An Linn Bhiudhe’ An Rinn, provided delicious food that was enjoyed while all guests mingled easily and made many new acquaintances.
Cabrin De Barra of Comhlucht Forbartha na nDéise Teoranta and many representatives from Udaras na Gaeltachta outlined all the activities they are involved in; supporting businesses to introduce and maintain some Gaeilge in their business. This event was a great exercise for both Chamber members and businesses in the Gaeltacht to meet up. There may be many business transactions in the future as a result of this.
