Tánaiste Leo Varadkar met with Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber members on Friday 21st of October to discuss what’s next for business.

The Tánaiste recorded a piece for camera especially for the Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber audience. The Tánaiste addressing how the instability in the UK Government may affect the Irish economy, how the Irish Government is pre-empting this, and plans they have in place to shield Ireland from negative impacts.

During the in-person event, the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Employment discussed budget decisions, post-Covid legacy, the energy crisis and the impacts on small – medium businesses. Covering other areas too, the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Leo Varadkar spoke about the power of Chambers and how businesses are stronger together. He highlighted the importance of keeping Dungarvan & West Waterford competitive with initiatives such as the Digital Transformation Hub destined for Dungarvan.
