The Saturday Morning Business Advice Seminar is offering hints, tips and advice to businesses from professionals within their area of expertise to help businesses in the times we are in. The information given will be relevant, useful and up to date.

We endeavour each participant will leave with a number of useful ideas to implement immediately into their business to assist them positively.

This seminar is tailored to Small Business owners & managers. There will be time allocated for Questions & Answers at the end of each presentation.

This segment is on low cost marketing ideas – how to drive brand awareness, build your business profile, attract new business and maximise a minimal marketing budget through practical, creative marketing techniques. This will be presented by Mags Durand O’Connor of Dungarvan Enterprise Centre.

Legal

Letting agreements, partnership agreements, employing staff, putting insurance in place (depending on the business). This will l be presented by Aisling Cahill, Aisling Cahill & Co., Solicitors

Business Coach

How to deal with stress in a Tough and Economic Climate. Presented by Colette Bannon of The WorkCoach

Accountant

Record keeping, basic requirements to present to your accountant, Dealing with banking issues/Methods. Presented by Vincent Hayes of FDC Accountants.

Taxation

Tax update for businesses and owners of businesses. The talk will focus on recent tax changes as a result of Budget and Finance Bill 2012 and also some tax planning tips for 2012. Presented by Darren Tutty of Cogent Taxation
