‘Thoughtful Gifting’ of Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber Vouchers has been positively embraced by the general public during the Covid-19 pandemic. Chamber CEO Jenny Beresford said they were “delighted with the outcomes from the recent Thoughtful Gifting campaign. We got orders for occasions such as teachers thanks you’s, general thanks you’s and a large selection of important birthday wishes.”

For the past couple of months the D&WW Chamber has offered an additional service as part of their Chamber Shopping Voucher scheme, sending a special occasion card with the customer’s own message, handwritten and delivered by post to the recipient for a special occasion. The card is purchased locally to fit the occasion and the Chamber Team promises to use ‘their best writing’ on the card!

The popular Chamber Shopping Vouchers, which can be used in over 120 local businesses, are the perfect gift – versatile, convenient and with something to suit everybody. This is a practice the Chamber will continue mentions Jenny,”it will continue to be part of our offering as we are aware there are people who are reluctant to move around publically for one reason or other and simply for the convenience and novelty of this.”

How it works: You can avail of this service by emailing your order to info@dungarvanchamber.ie.

Let the Chamber know what value voucher you would like, the nature of the occasion, the message to include and please provide your phone number.

A Chamber team member will ring you to double check the details, they will take the payment over phone and will then prepare the gift & message.

This is a great way to safely mark special occasions with a thoughtful, practical gift that also supports local jobs and business!

There is a €5 charge for card & domestic post.

Chamber Vouchers are particularly important now – it is essential that we support our local economy in these trying times if we want to protect our favourite businesses and safeguard jobs in our community. By keeping our money in our local businesses, we can each be part of the recovery.
