The Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber is working on accommodation solutions for people wishing to move to Dungarvan and West Waterford for work and has come up with an idea for a short-term solution to the local accommodation crisis which will be launched shortly.
The Chamber and Flexiwage Ltd are creating an introductory platform from where homeowners & tenants will register their details and hopefully find a match. Piloting this project, Chamber is collaborating with two established local employers, companies that will provide the landlord with reassurance that the prospective tenant has been referenced checked.
It’s a safe and straight-forward way to find the perfect match for a spare room in your home and protect yourself from rising costs of living with up to €14,000 tax free income.
Piloting the innovation initiative, the D&WW Chamber is working with two large local employers; Haleon and Eurofins. All prospective tenants on the database are professionals with confirmed offers of local employment from some of the area’s leading employers.
