  1. A.L.L. Youth diversion project: based in Waterford City, working with children and young people in Ballybeg and Larchville Lisduggan communities.
  2. A.Y. Youth Diversion Project: based and working with children and young people in Dungarvan and now expanding catchment area in West Waterford

The aim of the youth Diversion Projects is to respond to the needs of unattached young people aged 12 to 17 years who are involved in and/or at risk of criminal or anti-social behaviour.

Ideal candidates for these posts should demonstrate flexibility, motivation, and initiative, have excellent interpersonal, organisational, communication and facilitation skills, be a strong team player and be committed to creating with others participatory and effective responses to children’s needs and interests. They must have at least 1 year’s (ideally 2) professional experience of working directly with children/young people and a recognised qualification in early childhood development, youth and community work r related discipline.
