Waterford County Enterprise Board Women’s Enterprise Network (WEN) and Dungarvan Chamber are delighted to announce that they are joining forces to bring two superb speakers to West Waterford. A networking evening revealing secrets of success in business is planned for Monday 10th May 2010. This free event will kick off in Lawlor’s Hotel at 6.30PM.

Opening the event is Avine McNally, Assistant Director of the Small Firms Association (SFA), Ireland’s national organisation that exclusively represents the small business and is Ireland’s largest small business organisation with over 8,000 members. Avine has been working in the SFA for the past thirteen years and is an MA graduate of the Institute of Public Administration. Avine will be giving insider secrets on being successful in business, with a special focus on managing cash flow in tough times.

Acclaimed author, broadcast journalist and PR guru Ellen Gunning will then be sharing her red hot tips for getting publicity. Harnessing publicity is a cost-effective means of getting your business name out there. Ellen is director of the Irish Academy of Public Relations, Ireland’s largest provider of PR education. She conducts training for senior executives in Ireland and Eastern Europe. Her clients have included The Kerrygold Dublin Horse Show, National Energy Awareness Week and a Presidential campaign.
