Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber welcomed Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Simon Coveney TD with Fine Gael colleague, Senator John Cummins to Dungarvan for a lunchtime session with members of the Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber
The Minister heard the challenges impacting local businesses, which reflect the challenges faced by businesses all over the country, including a shortage in workforce, insurance costs strangling businesses, lack of housing availability and planning for same, post-Budget impacts, fuel and carbon tax.
Questions around fishing were posed, a topic that relates directly related to our local environment which is rich in businesses connected to agriculture and the marine.
