Job Description
We are actively seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our Biopharmaceutical team in Dungarvan, Co Waterford the role will support appropriate site operations to enable efficient and right first processing of customer samples throughout the relevant laboratory.
- General housekeeping activities in assigned department/ area, including keeping area clean and tidy and cleaning laboratory equipment etc. as required (e.g. refrigerators, incubators, stability chambers).
- Provision of laboratory/ area support to the team, through stock management, reagent preparation, equipment calibration and checks, requirement documentation completion etc.
- Performing waste disposal duties as necessary.
- Completion of all documentation to required standard (ALCOA+).
- Upkeep of training records and completion of all EtQ training on time.
- Adhering to all company standards in the area of safety, housekeeping and quality, notifying management of any discrepancies.
- Flexibility ensuring that customers’ requirements are fully met and in so doing will be flexible to work in any area of the business as is required.

CLEANING OPERATIVE

Eurofins are currently seeking a Cleaning Operative on our site in Dungarvan. The main responsibilities of this role are to ensure the premises, building and laboratory glassware is kept clean and in a tidy manner at all times, keeping in mind efficiency, quality and accuracy standards as required by the company.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and maintaining the building at an acceptable housekeeping level in accordance with company procedures.
- Disposing of waste in the skip in the most efficient and space efficient manner i.e. collapsing boxes prior to placing them in the skip.
- Disposing of chemical waste in the appropriate manner.
- Stripping and re-sealing the floors when required.
- Sanitisation of pharm micro labs and completing logbooks.
- Responsible for washing all glassware as per the appropriate company procedures.
- Responsible for general cleaning around the building i.e. general dirt problems, outside etc. (Providing housekeeping cover during the day in the absence of evening staff.)
- Working as part of a team, this person will be responsible for providing cover for other members of staff as required.

- Treat equipment with care and concern at all time.

- Loading Vans as per delivery routes.
- Driving vans, deliver and erect inflatables to customers on assigned routes.
- Maintain ongoing communication with store manager/route dispatcher.
- Communicating with customers upon arrival to their property and inform them to the terms of use to using inflatables and obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set out by the company.
- Take-down, roll up and collect inflatables from customers property on assigned routes.
- Unload equipment from vans and store away in warehouse as per company guidelines.
