We are currently seeking a Packaging Operator to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract in Dungarvan.
This role will support the day-to-day operation of our packaging lines, ensuring products are packed safely, efficiently and in line with GMP, quality and production requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with production, quality and engineering teams to support new product introductions, process improvements and the achievement of departmental performance targets.
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging equipment in accordance with SOPs, GMP and safety requirements.
- Complete packaging activities in line with production schedules and quality standards.
- Support line changeovers, product introductions and packaging trials.
- Identify and escalate quality, safety or equipment issues impacting performance.
- Assist with troubleshooting and root cause investigations to reduce downtime, waste and process losses.
- Complete production documentation and batch records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency and waste reduction.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and compliance within the packaging area.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Quality and Production teams to deliver departmental objectives.
