SUMMER GARDENER
The Park Hotel
This is a unique opportunity for a full-time summer position that is based on-site at The Park Hotel in Dungarvan, with a part-time winter position thereafter.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out maintenance works such as grass cutting, strimming and edging, pruning, hedge cutting and general cleaning operations along with some general landscape operations such as tree and shrub planting, mulching, and lawn preparation and be a capable pesticide user.
The role is very broad and offers the opportunity to grow and to develop a significant number of skills.
Person Specification
You will be passionate about horticulture and landscape maintenance with relevant experience. The candidate must be physically fit and capable of carrying out roles and responsibilities of the job. You will be expected to uphold the high standards of the company, be presentable, courteous and have a keen eye for detail.
Job Type
- Permanent – full-time summer followed by part-time winter
- Working pattern 5 days during summer
- Pay: Negotiable (depending on demonstrated ability)

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Seeking a Customer Service Representative for our office in Dungarvan. You will be a vital part of our customer-focused team. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction by effectively handling inquiries, order (from entry through to shipping) and customer queries or concerns. You will play a crucial role in liaising between customers, the sales team, and other relevant personnel to facilitate smooth order processing and assist with inquiries related to advertising and promotions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and other channels to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information about orders, advertising, and promotions.
- Proactively reach out to customers to gather feedback and assess their needs.
- Accurately Manage customer orders and set up on the IFS or relevant order management system.
- System setup and management of customer details and agreements.
- Ensure that all order details, including product specifications, quantities, and delivery instructions, pricing and relevant discounts are entered correctly and efficiently.
- Promptly acknowledge receipt of customer orders and provide order confirmation.
- Manage back-order situations and file promptly and accurately.
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure the availability of products and meet delivery timelines.

- Verify order accuracy and pricing information before invoicing.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service, order processing and / or shipping liaison role.
- Proficiency in using IT systems / software for order management and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to work as a team member and on ones own initiative.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- German speaker advantageous

- Disposing of waste in the skip in the most efficient and space-efficient manner i.e. collapsing boxes prior to placing them in the skip.
- Disposing of chemical waste in the appropriate manner.
- Stripping and re-sealing the floors when required.
- Sanitization of pharm micro labs and completing logbooks.
- Responsible for washing all glassware as per the appropriate company procedures.

- Encourage a proactive approach to health and safety by fostering a culture of awareness and accountability among all employees and subcontractors.
- Carry out regular site inspections and audits.
- Ensure compliance with the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005 and Construction Regulations 2013.
- Support the preparation and review of RAMS, Safety & Health Plans, and all statutory documentation.
- Support the delivery of health and safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for site personnel.
- Manage and maintain digital safety records using Hammer Tech.
- Record and report near-misses, accidents, and incidents, and participate in investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with PSCS teams to ensure all obligations are met.
- Prepare clear and timely H&S reports and maintain accurate records of site inspections, audits, and incident reports.
- Monitor the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by employees and contractors.
