We are seeking a proactive and organised Bookkeeper to support our busy office team. This role offers full-time hours and is ideal for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role. This is a full-time position in person in the office in Dungarvan Waterford.
The successful candidate will manage day-to-day administrative tasks, support staff, and ensure the smooth running of the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering phones, responding to emails, and managing general enquiries
- Managing office supplies and maintaining the company’s inventory
- Filing and organising company documentation
- Data entry, record keeping, and updating company databases
- Assisting with invoicing and accounts tasks
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and contractors
- Supporting management with administrative tasks as required
Requirements / Skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping / office administration role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Proficient in an accountancy software
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members and staff teams ensuring they are equipped to assist service users in achieving their individual goals and person-centred plans.
- Supporting staff and staff teams to implement and review positive based risk assessment enabling service users to experience independence and choice in line with the New Directions Framework.

In this role you will

- Provide cross-functional support to key customers/value streams.
- Daily use of warehouse tools (forklift, power pallet truck and hand truck) to complete tasks whist adhering to safety regulations.

- Processing goods in receivals,
- Selection and transfer of materials for downstream consumption.
- Receipt and labelling of finished products.

- Check near expiry, orders for delivery, and status of goods in system.
- Replenishment of material when items are low.
- Ensure only clean and properly labelled materials are issued to production and that all rejected material are promptly treated and disposal taken in line with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure prompt data entry input for the receipt, inspection, and issuance of raw and packaging materials.
- Ensure immediate posting of all stock transaction documents so they reflect the true inventory balances.
