The Food Microbiology Laboratory is an INAB accredited analytical testing facility. This role of Laboratory Technician will be to prepare and analyse customer food samples keeping in mind efficiency, quality and accuracy standards as required by the company.

GENERAL OPERATIVE

We are currently looking to add to our General Operative (Sites) teams and would love to hear from you if you are interested in a varied and challenging role.
Ideally you will have had experience of working in the Construction Sector and or with allied trades, but previous experience is not essential.
What is essential is a can-do attitude, and the willingness to learn and develop no matter what stage of your career you are at.
Typically, you will work 5 days per week, from 8 am to 5pm Monday to Friday with occasional overtime and or Saturdays required.
A Full clean Drivers Licence is essential, and if you have already completed your FAS Safe Pass and Manual Handling Courses that is a bonus, but full training will be offered if needed.
A competitive basic rate is on offer with overtime rates applying for hours worked more than the basic 40 hours.
We pay a minimum of 21 days annual leave days and Christmas bonuses and staff rewards at Easter and Summer. We are members of the Construction Workers Pension Scheme for over 20 years and so we also offer Staff Pensions and Sick Pay Schemes to all employees.

It is not necessary to have a science qualification as full training will be given, but experience in a food environment would be an advantage.
