- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, including motors, control panels, PLCs, and power distribution systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in packaging lines and process manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct fault finding and diagnostics on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to identify and rectify issues in real-time.
- Oversee the installation of new electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Recommend and implement upgrades and improvements to existing electrical systems to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
- Follow all Health and Safety, Maintenance, Manufacturing and GMP Procedures (SOP’s)
- Strive to prevent breakdowns rather than fix breakdowns after they happen.
- All preventative and corrective maintenance work is carried out and documented into MERP CMMS software system.

- To ensure that company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained.
- To ensure that you are clean, tidy, clean shaven and dressed in you always correct uniform.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Analyst/Technician to join our Process Control Water Micro team in Dungarvan Co Waterford.
The purpose of this job is to carry out scientific test procedures on customers’ samples and produce accurate results within an acceptable time frame using company procedures.
- Perform routine and non-routine analysis, as requested by the laboratory.
- Prepare and approve results for tests in which they are deemed competent.
- Aware of customers requirements and should strive to meet those requirements keeping in mind the cycle is not complete until the customer has obtained their report.
- Deal with customer queries and telephone significant results to customers.
- Keep up to date with any technological or method revisions in their area, ensuring their training is complete and adjusting their work as required.
- Train other more junior members of staff in analytical techniques as required.
- Perform QC samples in accordance with company procedures.
- Revise SOPs as required by the laboratory.
- Participate in the company’s weekend rota and/or overtime schedule.
- Responsible for up dating any relevant documentation when requested.
- Identify any opportunities for improvement of quality and service and work with the team to implement continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in microbiology or a related discipline
Experience / Skills
- At least 6 months experience in a GMP laboratory
- Minimum qualification required for Analyst is a Level 7
- Minimum qualification required for Technician is a Level 6
- Media Prep, Aseptic Technique, Pour Plate, Membrane Filtration, Environmental Monitoring, Endotoxin Testing Gel Clot, Endotoxin Testing Kinetic
- Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills

To participate and provide administrative support for the planning, development, implementation and review of the annual Statement of Work (SOW) Local Implementation Plan (LIP). To carry out the programme & operational administrative functions of the Company. 28 hours per week
- To carry out all responsibilities in adherence with the mission, values, policies and procedures of the Company
- To receive, respond to and/or refer incoming calls as appropriate
- To attend meetings and to record minutes/notes of meetings as required
- To administer and maintain the payments & receipts journal
- To assist in the preparation of payments for approval (PFA)
- To assist with the preparation of finance reports and returns including Board and Pobal reports
- To assist in the preparation of accounts and files for audit & Pobal verification
- To administer small grants & bursaries
- To update and maintain the assets register
- To maintain and update the list of suppliers and check Tax Clearance
- To provide information to parents on Early Learning and Care (ELC), School Age Childcare (SAC) & Childminding (CM) services and Parent & Toddler Groups (P&TG)
- To refer parents to relevant websites including the HIVE, AIM, Tusla etc for information on services & service fees and government programmes
- To maintain and update the provisioning report
- To assist with the administration and promotion of training and events as required
- To assist with programme information dissemination and data collection as required
- To carry out any other administrative functions as requested by Management
Qualifications / Experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in an administrative role.
- Training and a relevant qualification in business administration and/or bookkeeping
Desirable:
- Experience and /or a qualification and training in business marketing & communication
- Previous experience in a front line or reception type role.
