- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, including motors, control panels, PLCs, and power distribution systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in packaging lines and process manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct fault finding and diagnostics on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to identify and rectify issues in real-time.
- Oversee the installation of new electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Recommend and implement upgrades and improvements to existing electrical systems to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
- Follow all Health and Safety, Maintenance, Manufacturing and GMP Procedures (SOP’s)
- Strive to prevent breakdowns rather than fix breakdowns after they happen.
- All preventative and corrective maintenance work is carried out and documented into MERP CMMS software system.

- Training and a relevant qualification in business administration and/or bookkeeping
Desirable:
- Experience and /or a qualification and training in business marketing & communication
- Previous experience in a front line or reception type role.

If so, CMT Community Services can offer 1 year Community Employment placements at Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber, Waterford County Museum and Dungarvan Tourist Office, 19.5 hours a week over 3 days and with practical job experience and coaching, accredited training and development.

The Training Support Grant Scheme (TSG) Scheme
The Training Support Grant (TSG) is designed to fund quick access to short term training that can support individual jobseekers seeking employment (including self-employment) to access work opportunities.
The grant can be provided when a Case Officer or Job Coach have identified an immediate skills gap or related intervention, such as obtain or renew certification and permits that is preventing a jobseeker commencing a job offer.
