The Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber has just launched an exciting new initiative designed to help local businesses explore the practical power of Artificial Intelligence. This innovative programme offers Chamber members the opportunity to book a free, one-to-one online mentoring session with Chamber Director Patrick Shields, focused entirely on how AI could support and enhance their business operations.

The 40-minute sessions are tailored to each participant, with the aim of cutting through the jargon and offering clear, practical advice. From understanding the potential benefits and risks, to identifying real-world applications, the sessions are designed to demystify AI and provide business owners with a solid starting point. Whether you’re curious about improving efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing customer service, or simply want to know if AI is a good fit for your current goals, this initiative promises valuable insight in a time-efficient format.

Chamber CEO Jenny Beresford said the response is already generating strong interest. “We know AI can feel overwhelming, but it also holds enormous potential. This initiative will allow members to ask real questions in a straightforward, supportive environment and walk away with practical ideas they can apply right away. It’s about empowering local businesses to stay ahead of the curve.”

Places are limited and must be booked in advance. Members interested in securing a session are encouraged to email Jenny directly at jenny@dungarvanchamber.ie with the subject line “AI Mentoring Session” and a short note about what they hope to gain from the experience.

With digital innovation moving fast, this new Chamber-led initiative offers timely, accessible support for local businesses ready to explore what AI can do for them.
